Thanks for stopping by my blog. Your plan for school this year looks exciting and I love the mission statement that you share above for the school. I had not heard of it before, but it sounds great! You asked me if I have any advice for your first year. Now that my two kiddos are 9 and 11, I fondly look back on our early home school days. It is fun to teach them new things, but my advice would be to not forget to keep taking some time to play with them and just enjoy being together. I have also used various types of planners over the years and I guess the "teacher" in me loves having a written plan and a record of all that we have done at the end of each year!
