A little bit about coconut oil:

Tropical Traditions is America’s source for coconut oil. You can read more about how virgin coconut oil is different from other coconut oils on their website: What is Virgin Coconut Oil?

You can also watch the video they produced about Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil:

Tropical Traditions also carries other varieties of affordable high quality coconut oil. Visit their website to check on current sales, to learn about the many uses of coconut oil, and to read about all the advantages of buying coconut oil online. Since the FDA does not want us to discuss the health benefits of coconut oil on a page where it is being sold or given away, here is the best website to read about the health benefits of coconut oil.

Coconut oils uses:

Now for my review:
What I Liked:
  1. The coconut oil is organic and very pure
  2. You can use it in a variety of ways not only limited to cooking and baking
  3. One of the highest quality coconut oils I have used
  4. It comes in a glass gar which is great since there are so many toxin leeching plastics out there and when it’s all gone, you have an awesome jar to reuse!
  5. You can easily substitute this coconut oils for any recipe with an unhealthy fat like canola or vegetable oil, which are rancid oils
  6. This coconut oils is great for a natural lotion, put some in a small baby food jar and keep in your bathroom, my kids have come to know this at what they use for lotion

What I didn’t Like:

  1. This oil is for anything but cooking foods like meat, searing tortillas for quesadillas or anything you wouldn’t want a slight coconut flavor on
  2. I wish the label wold explain that is does have a slight coconut flavor for people who are still learning about natural, real foods to buy

  31. I’m trying to purchase coconut oil for multiple things….I have a few recipes…calling for organic …but the cheapest on your site wasn’t the organic? I also need to make coconut milk…doing my research…it states …buying cocnuts in usa ..they are moldy? Good to know…I missed your giveaways..but glad your doing giveaways…..also…any study link related to better eye vision with coconut oil? I need to get moving here…advice please…..

  32. I use TT expeller pressed for cooking because it doesn’t add any coconut flavor and the Gold Label for all other uses like skin and hair care, pulling and anything I do want to impart flavor to. I recently started giving it to the dog who loves it so much she pushes her bowl around trying to get every last bit and begs for more! I made the mistake of starting off with the good flavored expensive stuff for her and can’t change it knowing just how much she loves it.It’s great stuff and if the benefits are as great as they say (and it sure seems accurate to me) the uses seem endless!
