12 Days of Christmas {Day 4: MadeOn Gift Set}

An awesome giveaway from MadeOn Skin Care, a natural skin care company offering a variety of products that are all made with 3 helpful ingredients: coconut oil, shea butter and beeswax.  This is Mom business that started in owner Renee's kitchen out of desperation to help her dry and cracking hands. 
Features of MadeOn Skin Care Products: 
  • Hard lotion is lotion that is solid at room temperature.  It is designed to specifically protect hands and feet from cracked skin and extreme dry skin

 Now for my review:

I was able to try out all of the products pictured above as well as the bug block.

What I Liked:
  1. The was my second experience using hard lotion, the first was a different brand, so I was expecting the same thing but really, I was impressed. MadeOn lotion gives your skin exactly what it needs and doesn't take that much warmth form your hands
  2. The products really do what they claim to
  3. All the products are natural and non toxic
  4. The lotions come in really sturdy  nice tins
  5. The Au Chocolat lotion bar is to die for, it smells so delightful! 
  6. The Bug Block worked great, a friend of our used it during a outdoor training in the summer  and he loved it, said it worked great and didn't have to use the harsh stuff! 
What I didn't Like:
  1. The lotion does leave an oily residue on your skin but the good thing if you know it's working.

  2. I would usually do small things that my fiancé needs or wants, but we're not doing any gifts for the second year in a row. It's mainly because we can't afford it, but it really helps us to really focus on the meaning of the holiday. Especially since we both come from families who love buying everything!
    The few gifts we are giving to family and friends are handmade, and I love it :)

  6. I like to make hair accessories for the girls as stocking stuffers. Plus other girly things like lip gloss, nail polish, etc.

  10. I have three children in college so movie tickets and lottery scratch off tickets are good stocking stuffers. Thanks for the giveaway.

We haven't started doing stockings yet since the kids are still young and thrilled with just a few things left under the tree :) But my parents do an awesome job with the "basics" of chapstick , mini flashlights, etc. And my grandparents do movie theater gift cards so my husband and I look forward to a free date!

  14. My hubby is the king of Christmas stocking stuffing. We all end up with stick-on mustaches, false teeth, mini-games, 3-D "torture" puzzles, etc.

  21. I found these corn cobs that still have the popcorn on them. You put them in the microwave and they pop on the cob.

  22. We fill our stockings with little necessities like a new toothbrush, toothpaste, lip balm, lotion etc. It's a little care package!
