On the 3rd day of Christmas, day2day joys gave to me…

An awesome giveaway from Plan to Eat, a simple menu planner that allows you to save the personal menu that’s already in your head and scattered across recipe books and the web, in one place.

Plan to Eat has been a sponsor of mine for a couple of months now, you might have seen there ad in my sidebar. They are a family operated business and very delightful to work with so I am excited to tell you a bit about them.

  • Add your favorite recipes from other websites/blogs in seconds (or add your own recipes)
  • You will get a shopping list from the recipes you choose

  2. You can develop your own lists of healthy recipes to come back to time and time again
  3. The smart phone app- saves a bunch of time!

What I didn’t Like:

  1. There isn’t really anything I didn’t like, the only thing would be that I would just want someone else to plan my menus, lol!

Comments

  1. I find the organization of meal planning the most difficult. Sometimes i just cannot wrap my head around it

  2. I guess for me, the biggest challenge is simply making it a priority. It all boils down to a sad lack of self-discipline. 😉

  3. Doing it!

  4. Even after all these years…still trying to get organized. I get so frustrated sometimes (at myself, ofcourse) that I must stop what I have started to plan/cook a meal. Planning ahead would eliminate this frustration.

  5. choosing healthy recipes

  6. The hardest part for me is finding recipes that are healthier than just eating instant meals. I am really picky so its hard for me to find stuff that sounds delicious AND is nutritious.

  7. Time!!!

  8. Making the shopping list…I seem to forget to add something to my list. 🙂

  9. I like to make pot roast in the crock pot and the one thing I do not like about meal planning is that sometimes I do not like to eat on Thursday what I had “scheduled” on Sunday.

    Love,
    Janet

  10. To keep my family healthy, we believe in a combination of regular chiropractic care (my husband is chiro wohoo!), healthy eating (as much as possible- cutting out the processed foods is my main goal), play/exercise time (more on the play time haha), and prayer! And I am definitely interested in learning more about essential oils to add to our family health game plan 🙂

  11. Anonymous says:

I make my chicken broth in the crock pot.
I also have a macaroni and cheese recipe that my kids love.

  12. Actually following through with the plan in the midst of unpredictable afternoon/evening needs.

  13. remembering to check the schedule ahead of time to prep things before hand.

  14. I keep hearing about this program. Thanks!

  15. my new favorite is chocolate peanut butter lava cake. (Crock On! from Stacy Makes Cents…enter the give away or buy a copy it is well worth it!!)

  16. This would be great for me because I’m in a dinner idea rut.

  17. My favorite crockpot meal is chicken breasts with bbq and cranberry sauce,a few spices and some OJ.when done,it gets shredded for sandwiches,or served over rice, or a million other uses plus everone in the family loves it.

  18. Time and coming up with something besides the same old things.

  19. I love my crockpot! My favorite meal is roast with veggies since it comes out just right every time – but I use it nearly every day. Also makes lots of bone broth. 🙂

  20. italian chicken

  21. I like to make chicken soup.

  22. Are you going to email the winners? Just curious if I won or not because I am Rachel V, but I am sure other people are too 🙂
