Captain Jack Sparrow {a review}

Back in April I reviewed A Pretty Plum Pixie costume for a company and I am reviewing another costume from a different company called Wholesale Costume Club. They offer tons of costumes for babies to adults and styles ranging from superheros to patriotic characters, something to make your themed party a blast. They even have costumes for your dog!

We just threw our son a Pirate Party for his 4th Birthday. I ordered a Captain Jack Sparrow Deluxe Costume and gave it to him for his Birthday. He LOVED it, it was his favorite present. You can order Pirate costumes for every member of your family including some awesome accessories, just in time for the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie. (our kids are too young for the movie)

The costume came in a hefty plastic sleeve with a button to keep it inside. Included was the:
  • shirt
  • vest
  • across-the-chest belt with buckle
  • fabric sash
  • two belts with attached buckles
  • pants
  • boot covers.
  • hat
  • bandanna with beaded braid
Now for my review:

LIKES:
  • This companies shipping is fast, so you will be sure to get your costume within 2-4 days.
  • I love the bandanna with hair & beaded braid attached to it and so did Lincoln
  • The hat is pretty durable
  •
  • The costume looks a lot like Jack Sparrow when the whole costume is on, so I am impressed with their ability to capture the character in the costume
DISLIKES:
  • I WAS NOT impressed with the "boot" covers, They were far too big and the elastic didn't help at all.
  • The shirt, which is the shirt, vest, and 2 bulky belts is hard to put on and off
  •
  • The belt buckles are flimsy plastic but haven't broke yet, however, they look really good, just like the real Jack Sparrow.
I would suggest costumes from Wholesale Costume Club, they offer a discount if you become a member for only $5 and if you are ordering more than one costume the membership is well worth it.

Disclaimer: I was asked to review any product of my choice with my fair and honest opinions and to write a review. They shipped me a costume free of charge for my son to keep. If you would like more info or to have me review a product, please contact me.
